Group Training Description

Group sessions can range from 2 – 30 individuals.  It is best to have the members of the group on roughly the same playing field for best results and to keep the sessions challenging and fun for all members.  The sessions are designed to fit the groups needs and goals, they are not random and tough.  Exercises are selected that can be easily and quickly modified for those with injuries or limitations, progressed for those needing more of a challenge, and regressed for those needing simplified versions.  Group sessions are a fantastic method of training as they offer a fun and social environment, variety in workouts, accountability and motivation, and cost benefits.

The office warrior is prone to many physical and mental stresses.  Enduring long durations of sitting, inactivity and repetitive motions which lead to many common issues that plague employees; lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and neck pain to name a few.  Employers face higher insurance costs, decreased productivity, loss of time, and loss of revenue among other costs.

I have developed a specific health and wellness program for the corporate environment.  The program covers the major aspects necessary for office employees:

  • Healthy lifestyle habits
  • Ways of being more active while at work
  • Office food and snack choices
  • Challenges, contests and races with incentives
  • Stress management techniques
  • Onsite group fitness classes
